The Tenure Facility provides the flexible and direct support that Indigenous Peoples and local organisations need to respond at the speed and scale necessary to secure the lives of the millions of people and hectares of forest that are at immediate risk. Tenure Facility projects catalyse efforts to scale-up land rights recognition, whilst building the grass-roots capacity of proponents to engage with future partners, such as other donors or government authorities. Through active engagement with other initiatives, the Tenure Facility will assist project proponents to identify complementary funding sources where appropriate. The project pages below provide information on ongoing and completed projects. These pages are organised chronologically with the most recent project at the top.
