The discussion will focus on two key questions: why climate finance is still not reaching Indigenous organizations effectively, and what models are working to close that gap.

In this session we explored the operationalisation of the Loss and Damage Fund and examined its practical and conceptual implications. We delved into key questions, such as how funds will be raised, how compensation will work, and how the fund can best benefit those affected by both economic and non-economic losses, including cultural heritage and biodiversity.
