How Can Woman’s Climate Leadership Have the Biggest Impact? – New York Climate Week

The New York Times and If Not Us Then Who? are coming together to hold a panel discussion on “How Can Woman’s Climate Leadership Have the Biggest Impact?”. Nonette Royo, Executive Director of the Tenure Facility will be part of this exciting panel.

Around the world, women and girls are both more vulnerable to climate change impacts and play a critical role in addressing climate change. From scaling sustainable agriculture and renewable energy programs as well as advocating for policy changes, women have been agents of change for much-needed initiatives. The discussion will look at some examples of meaningful women’s leadership and participation in climate-related decision-making, and ask how can all people enable and scale it.
