The International Land and Forest Tenure Facility (the Tenure Facility) is an international financial mechanism established in 2017, with a secretariat in Stockholm, Sweden. The Tenure Facility aims to: (1) scale up implementation of tenure reform policies and legislation; and (2) enable national governments and communities to test new models and strategies and approaches to implement law and policy. The Tenure Facility provides grants and technical assistance directly to Indigenous Peoples’ and local communities’ organizations to support their initiatives in Africa, Asia and Latin America and shares the knowledge, innovations and tools that emerge. Implementing tenure reform contributes to reduce conflict and furthers the achievement of global human rights, food security, sustainable natural resource management and other development goals.

The Chief Operating Officer lead all operations (HR, compliance, IT), financial administration, planning and budgeting for the TF in addition to providing inputs to strategic planning and organizational growth, linking with donors and other stakeholders. The COO is the deputy ED in the case of occasional absence of the ED.
Program officers will support project partners in countries where the Tenure Facility is engaged and manage grants from assessment of concepts and proposals, to monitoring, support and learning throughout project implementation.
Controllers are the main resource for general financial management and together with program officers will ensure Tenure Facility conducts organizational assessments and adheres to the highest standard of financial management and internal control.

All positions are full-time permanent and involve in-country periodic visits to project partners. We envision a diverse team with broad and complementary language skills, professional experiences and geographical and thematic backgrounds.
